How to Obtain your REsults

In most cases, we receive test results from the lab within 5 - 8 business days of your appointment. After they have been reviewed by the appropriate staff, they are posted to our patient portal. You can obtain your results by logging into the patient portal here.

What Happens Next?

That depends. If the provider determines:

  • That the results warrant additional testing or an action on your part, our office will contact you to schedule a follow up in-person appointment.

  • That the results warrant a relatively strait-forward and simple action (i.e sending a short term prescription or recommending an over-the-counter medication) the provider will electronically send the prescription to your pharmacy and/or simply create a separate order note; both of which can viewed in the patient portal.

  • That the results are within normal limits or simply don’t require an additional action; then you’re all set!

While we strive to provide the most convenient methods for patients to communicate with their clinical provider, efforts to respond to even “quick questions” via phone or encrypted email prove to be cumbersome and inadequate for both patients and our staff. Fortunately, most insurance plans recognize this challenge and have started covering follow-up visits via telehealth to accommodate to discussions about lab results. With nothing more than a computer or smartphone, we now offer face-to-face virtual appointments with our healthcare providers. These video visits provide an opportunity to ask questions and obtain a more comprehensive understanding regarding the factors that went into the providers assessment. If telehealth visits are not covered by your insurance, we have structured our self-pay fee schedule so that most video visits are between $45 - $75.

How to schedule a telehealth visit

We offer follow-up telehealth visits for limited appointment types on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. Currently, telehealth appointments can not be scheduled via ZocDoc so please submit your request using the form below. Once scheduled, our staff with email you an appointment confirmation and link to the telehealth platform. Please attempt to login into the platform at least one day prior to the visit in order to get comfortable with the application and avoid any last minute technical problems.
